And killed for more than we could possibly eat. With chariots and whips. Crosses and electric chairs;. We tore and ripped and burned. The wicked and the innocent. On every despot and on every saint. These same stars shone down. Their light took flight before we walked. And now cascades here on this rock.

Next to the can sits an untouchable carafe, while on the television, a bear dismembers a salmon. The "free" wifi doesn't work, and the extension cord is covered in paint. 2 countries/continents, 3 languages, 4 years, plenty of adventures and stories. That’s right folks, I now drink coffee. I know for some of you this comes as a shock but somewhere between living in France and moving to Mali I grew up! I’m really not sure why I didn’t start drinking coffee earlier.
