Roger Hance Photography: July 2014
http://rogerhancephotography.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 30 July 2014. Spent a few hours up at the hide at Ipswich on Tuesday afternoon, hoping really to get a shot of either the male or female Bullfinch bathing at the pond. Unfortunately, neither paid a visit, but I will keep plugging away at it. There is always something to photograph up there. Are You Looking At Me? Sometimes, being photographed can be so tiring that it makes you yawn! If you have got an itch, you just have to scratch it! Time to get up and find some food! Saturday, 26 July 2014.

Monday, 23 March 2015. Barn Owl - Welney. Barn Owl - Welney. All shots taken with a Canon 5D Mark III and an `old` 600mmF4 1.4TeleConverter. Although this bird looks like a captive one, (because of the `ring` on it leg), you will find that nowadays most young Barn Owls are ringed as chicks so that they can be identified and monitored . Wednesday, 27 August 2014. I have had my results from the RPS International Image for Screen Exhibition. I had three images accepted, and was quite please that the `Blue Room` was awarded a RPS Bronze Medal. I have put the shot up on a previous blog entry, but I thought I would show the finished image and the original raw file image, with no processing as a comparison. Original Raw File, with no alterations. Labels: The Blue Room. Friday, 15 August 2014. On this shot both his feet are off the ground.

http://rogerhancephotography.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 19 November 2014. During the summer, we spent a few days up in the Yorkshire Dales. One of the places we visited for an hour or so one afternoon was Brimham Rocks, which are an amazing collection of weird and wonderful natural rock formations in North Yorkshire. Roger Hance Photography: June 2014
http://rogerhancephotography.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 June 2014. The other day, Lynda Robinson rang me up to ask if I had any shots of Grass Snake? I replied that I had on `slide` but none on `digital`. I asked why, and she told me that one of her cats had just bought one indoors! The shot below was the same camera setting but had a burst of `fill in flash` set at minus 1 2/3rd of a stop in exposure. The grass snake was released after its `modelling session` in an area were I know grass snakes are seen. Saturday, 28 June 2014. In the afternoon we...
