It was June 2011 when I decided to shoot some timelapse while I was travelling around Australia. I took my first images for this video in the July and I was still going in October 1000's of kilometres and 10s of thounsands of photos later. Most of the images were shot in the deserts of Australia's Northern Territory and in Western Australia. Remember to watch in HD. Australia - Deserts and Oceans.

Darwin Oil Storage Tunnels. Longitude: E130° 50' 38.82. Latitude: S12° 28' 6.52. Taken: 5 years ago. These oil storage tunnels were originally build to store large quantities of oil for refuelling ships during WW2. The tunnels were not completed before the end of the war. However they did get some use after the wall to store jet fuel, though during Darwin's wet season the tunnels became flooded and the fuel was contaminated. The tunnel in this image has now been opened to the public. Taken: 5 years ago.
