Tuesday, March 4, 2014 Surgery Postponed. March 4, 2014. The surgical laminectomy was re-scheduled for tomorrow, March 5. Fortunately, my leg pain has decreased significantly over the past two months to the point now where the pain on walking and standing is tolerable. Leg pain is still present, but it is easily tolerated. March 4, 2014 at 4:14 pm.

The stye is cleared up, thanks to a week long regimen of antibiotics and surgical incision and removal of the offending cyst yesterday afternoon. Yesterday, Bruce proved to the doctors that his lungs could still work. He was able to breathe on his own, with an assist from the ventilator, for 11 hours. That was up from just two hours the day before. With that encouraging sign, they were hoping to get him off the ventilator entirely today.
