My research focuses on identifying socio-economic and ecological factors affecting landowner use of different land management practices to restore degraded ecosystems; and the development of ecosystem health assessment and monitoring tools to help guide management and conservation planning. My strengths lie in my interdisciplinary background and in my ability to analyze and synthesize information from the natural and social sciences to help solve conservation related issues and generate new research ideas.
