A rapid prototyping system using an Armdroid robot arm
http://davidwyatt.me.uk/armdroid/index.html
A rapid prototyping system using an Armdroid robot arm. A rapid prototyping system using an Armdroid robot arm. Because of the way public exams were conducted at my school, Winchester College. I had finished my Physics A level by the end of my penultimate term in my penultimate year. We therefore spent the final term, from May to July 2001, doing projects of our own devising. That would allow me to control its motion manually, so I wrote a new programme. That would translate a Cartesian (x, y, z) point i...
Lego software tools

Back to the main page. I have been playing with Lego since the age of 2 and graduated fairly early to Technic. Since I acquired a Lego Mindstorms. Set a couple of years ago I have been exploiting its possibilities. Some of the pieces of software, freeware and commercial, are listed below. S standard, clicking-blocks-together visual programming language supplied with the Robotics Invention System. S slightly more advanced visual language (again involving connecting blocks together), based on Labview.

Consider the task of training a neural network to answer Tripos questions on Machine Learning. If only a single "sample exam paper", which may or may not reflect the content of the exam, is available (due to this being the first year the subject has been offered), describe the dangers of overfitting. 2 ( Computer graphics. 3 ( Computer vision.
Lego assembly lines
http://davidwyatt.me.uk/lego/aline/index.html
Back to the home page. I had thought I was the first, if not the only, person to come up wwith this idea but I was incorrect. There is one at an American university. Which is hugely more complicated than mine and actually builds proper cars, though I protest that they give it partially-assembled models as "raw materials" whereas mine work from isolated parts; they use it to teach manufacturing engineering students about how to control an assembly line. I also saw a model on the Lego Mindstorms website.

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. March 27, 2015. In my youth, when I was first getting into illustration quite seriously, one of my favourite-ist pictures was Hortus Conclusus by Patrick Woodroffe, who died last year. There’s a lot to see in the show; as well as book and record covers, there are etchings, tomographs (Patrick’s painted cut-out puppet thingies) and items from his studio. The event runs until April 18th at Falmouth Art Gallery. March 20, 2015. Here are the relevant stages...
