Monday, April 18, 2016. Welcome to my new blog, Preschool in Pajamas! I started doing a (joyschool) preschool, with some other moms in my neighborhood. Where each mom took a week and taught. It was so much fun, but it became difficult with baby's schedules, spring and summer vacations, and with the weather warming up kids were ready to be outside. So in April we decided to call it quits. Tuesday, April 26, 2016. S is for Senses. . . the sense of touch. This is a continuation for our lesson on the 5 senses focusing on the sense of Touch. Purpose: To focus on the sense of touch, and why it is so important. We went over the five senses again with Mr. Potato Head and watching the Dr. Binoc's video again. Not to mention it shows off some of the authentic bones of the house. So we are choosing to keep the cabinets and the white appliances, and do a minor makeover. This is what we plan to do. . . Things to do to get these two rooms completely finished. . . Hang art and pictures. Buy and hang drapes. Scrape and repaint window trim. Put up small molding around the base moulding. Refinish table and chairs. Larger rug for living area. Serving table for dining room. Finish filling/decorating book cases. Put in window seat in between book cases.

Friday, August 30, 2013. Play Time with Peyton. I feel so lucky that I’ve been able to spend so much time with P this summer. Especially since this is an age where I feel like he can do something new every day. That was probably why I had a hard time saying goodbye to him last Friday when I had to go to work. P's New Red Brick House. While I painted the exterior,. Peyton worked on the interior. I feel so lucky to be given the opportunity to be a mom. It really is the most rewarding job! A Trip to the Zoo.
