Dawning Dreams Blog: Tie Me Up Spats
http://dawningdreamsblog.blogspot.com/2008/07/tie-me-up-spats.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Tie Me Up Spats. While designing a Steam punk outfit for a special event, I came up with this pattern for some Victorian inspired spats to accommodate my vision. I feel that if a pattern is this easy, it should be free! Simply add your own personal touches to make it yours! 12 inches around top, 15 inches around bottom edge, and 7 inches tall. Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, 150yards. Size I crochet hook. Needle for sewing in ends. Ch 36, turn. Ch 2, hdc across, turn. I love this pa...

Thursday, November 28, 2013. How to Create Your Own Teeswater Cowl. Many knitters have asked me how I created my beautiful Teeswater cowl I posted in my Dawning Dreams group. 200 yards of a thick and thin spun, super bulky single (My handspun for the body was Oklahoma-grown Rambouillet fiber from Lowder Colours Farm.). 4-8 oz of long, ( 6-7") Teeswater wool locks (other varieties of locks could include mohair, Wensleydale, or Suri alpaca to name a few.). Right here in Oklahoma. This is important! Work fo...

Glenton Farm: Roof is starting to look like a roof
http://glentonfarm.blogspot.com/2014/04/roof-is-starting-to-look-like-roof.html
Life on the farm in Wandering Western Australia. Sunday, April 20, 2014. Roof is starting to look like a roof. Nearly all the way to the balcony - need the EWP for this last little bit. Hubby is going to join the circus when the roof is done - not as a clown but as a trapeze artist. The dormers are really taking shape now. Really only the tower to do now. The skillion side needs a bit of work. The tower will look great when it is clad in red too. Posted by Glenda Slann. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Life on the farm in Wandering Western Australia. Saturday, May 25, 2013. The second story floor. Well we have completed half of the second story floor before the rains started. We use the tractor to move one floor sheet at a time from the pile to the house. Then raise it up on the forks to the second floor. And pull it up onto the second floor level. Here is half the floor done. And the view from down stairs looking up at the floor in place. The view towards the dam. Posted by Glenda Slann. A section of ...

http://glentonfarm.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Life on the farm in Wandering Western Australia. Saturday, October 19, 2013. The veggies go in. We spent the weekend a few weeks ago getting our veggie garden sorted for Summer. We didn't get around to planting anything last year - so this year things will be different (hopefully). Here are some rock melons. We pinched part of the little yard where the goats and chickens like to play (full of good manure) to plant some veggies. Beans, red onions and corn around the outside. Posted by Glenda Slann. I thin...

Life on the farm in Wandering Western Australia. Sunday, August 18, 2013. All green and pretty. The creek is so pretty at the moment, all green and the water is running so we can hear it almost everywhere on the property. The kids love it too. Arnie and Linus having as chat here through the fence. All of the alpacas have been laying in the creek, they are muddy from the belly down. We need to thin out the pine trees a bit as they are taking over. Cosmo crossing the creek. Posted by Glenda Slann. This is ...

Here is hubby (nail gun in hand) and his patented work platform to get him up to the top of the dormer window to board it. The dormer with the insulation paper wrapped and ready to be boarded. Cutting the boards into the correct lengths. The view looking at the balcony end of the house. Once the tower is boarded as well it will really stand out. Posted by Glenda Slann.
Glenton Farm: December 2013
http://glentonfarm.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Life on the farm in Wandering Western Australia. Sunday, December 29, 2013. My little craft studio. This little caravan has had many lives - it's current one (until the house is finished and my upstairs studio is decked out) is as my craft studio. This end of the van had the seating area with divan cushions. It is now my desk area. My printer and cameo silhouette cutting machine are on this side. I can keep an eye on the boys (the angora goats) while I am crafting. Posted by Glenda Slann. This beam on to...

Upgrade to paid account! 09 December 2010 @ 08:36 am. If I were a Sim. I would most likely have the clumsy trait XDD.
