Well, it was a horribly rainy weekend for planting outdoors, so my broccoli will have to wait until a better day. Indoors, however, I was able to start my tomatoes and cabbage, so all was not lost! If you’re wondering when to plant your favorite crop, you need to know your last frost date. The best resource for that info is to the National Climatic Date Center. Very early spring (as soon as the ground can be worked).

This is important to note because questions have been asked whether one can rotate crops in the same bed or if your beds have to be separated.
