The Swallow's Nest: March 2012
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 15, 2012. My precious Ainsley came up to me and sweetly cupped my face in her little hands. She then proceeded to point to the circles under my eyes and softly say, "Mommy, when I grow up to be a mommy, will I have those? Yes, my sweet one, you surely will, and it is worth it a million times over! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A follower of Christ, wife to an amazing husband, and mommy to three beautiful little girls. The Swallow's Nest: 2013
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2013/01/2013.html
Friday, January 11, 2013. Well, the new year got off to a slow start here. The girls got sick just before Christmas and 18 days later, I feel like we are finally creeping out of it. Clara was the sickest of all - with a course of steroids and 2 rounds of antibiotic for her. She spent almost a week on the couch looking like this. Poor thing had a rough time of it, but she learned a few new tricks with all of her downtime - there's a new "shoe-tying sheriff" in town! Looking forward to all 2013 will bring!

The Swallow's Nest: July 2012
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 26, 2012. Last week was ballet camp for the big girls. Clara and Ainsley were so excited about Summer ballet, and the week did not disappoint. Fairies, princesses, crafts, music, dancing, tutus, and sweet friends - could it be more fun? Ainsley was especially excited as this was her first ballet experience, after watching Clara for the past 2 years. She had a ball, and is really looking forward to starting classes in the fall. Ainsley making sure the feet are correct. It's the Little Things.

The Swallow's Nest: Year in Review!
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2013/01/year-in-review_5.html
Saturday, January 5, 2013. So, it's been quite a while since my last post. Busy with the girls, Ed, school, work, life.all good things.but I do hope to be a little more attentive to the blog this year! The Lord's faithfulness to us this past year has been sweet - through joys and sorrows the Lord has remained unchanging and for that I am grateful. Here are some of my favorite memories from 2012. January 7, 2013 at 1:33 PM. We just died seeing the picture of Buzz.I mean Ed. Too funny! Hooves and High Heels.

The Swallow's Nest: Trot to Adopt
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2013/01/trot-to-adopt.html
Saturday, January 19, 2013. This morning we ran/walked in a 1 mile "Fun Run" sponsored by Trot to Adopt. This race is held annually and raises funds for 4 local families who are in the process of adopting children - some domestically and some internationally. We didn't personally know any of the families this year, but this was a great way to lend our support to them. Morning and a great fundraiser! Ainsley at the finish line. The Swallow's Nest: Ainsley is the funniest...
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2012/09/ainsley-is-funniest.html
Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Ainsley is the funniest. So, Ainsley has been quite the funny girl recently. She always has a little twinkle in her eye, but recently she has had me laughing more than usual. A little sampling from today. Me - Ainsley, are you excited about school this morning? Ainsley's response - No, I'm afraid I might have to learn something. Ainsley - "G" snatched from some of us today. That was unkind. Me - Yes, it was. Would you ever snatch from a friend like that? Stirring up the Nest.

The Swallow's Nest: Hooves and High Heels
http://theswallowsnest-farnellfamily.blogspot.com/2013/01/hooves-and-high-heels.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Hooves and High Heels. Ainsley was working through a "homework" book yesterday. At the end of the book, she had to draw a picture of herself - and of course, she wanted big sister in the picture as well. When Ainsley finished, she showed the picture to Clara and sweetly said, "I know your feet look like hooves in the picture, but those are really high heels! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Voted most likely to go insane if the internet was down. SEO, Gluten-Free, Kittens and more. Me in a Nutshell. I like the internet, a lot. I started building websites as a hobby back in highschool, and somehow managed to turn it into a career. I'm much better at it now, mostly because I know people who are good at the parts I can't do. I even met my husband, Adam. At a web developer meetup. How awesome is that? We don't eat gluten. Enjoyment of Cheese 100%. Feel free to contact me about any of the above.

Dawn Smith Books
My Adventures in Self Publishing. Rants, Raves, and Book Stuff. Monday, September 17, 2012. Image courtesy of SEASKYLAB. It has been a while since I've found the time, and the inspiration, to write an article for Dawn Smith Books. Dark Dawn Creations has consumed about every waking hour of my time for the last several months. Still, while I work to create cover art for my wonderful Indie authors, I'm always watching everything that goes on. I read an article recently by another blogger Roni Loren. If you...

Dawn Smith Jordan Ministries
The marvelous thing about God is that the deeper the tragedy, the greater the grace. Dawn Smith Jordan is no stranger to both. On May 31, 1985, Dawn's younger sister, Shari, was kidnapped and murdered just two days before her high school graduation. It became the largest manhunt in South Carolina's history, drawing national attention. In 1986 Dawn received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Columbia College in Columbia, SC. Today, Dawn ministers in up to 75 concerts/events annually&...
