Second cup of coffee. Monday, January 31, 2011. Illustration for The Illness. Here is an image I did for a poster for my buddy Josh's band The Illness. The background is comprised of pieces of fabric that I cut and sewed together, and then stretched onto stretcher bars to make a canvas. I then used Sculpy clay to make the baby doll (using glass doll eyes and false eyelashes). I painted the doll with acrylic paint, and then sewed it onto the canvas with embroidery thread. This piece is triple bad-ass!

Second cup of coffee. Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Yes, it's been forever since I've posted, but it's not for lack of creating stuff ;). I've been doing quite a bit of designing/sewing these past months. I made this baby dragon costume for my 8-month old for halloween. I first sketched it out, and then re-drew it in illustrator for accuracy of proportions/sizing. That's the best Baby Dragon costume ever! And that baby is darn cute too. You should post more of the things you've made. That is so superb!

I actually made the Sesame Street puppets last February (almost a year ago! As favors for my son Dax's birthday party. I like it where a little guy is walking the plank! Nice painting. I wish I were a kid again. Everything seemed so much easier then, didn't it? This painting reminds me of better times. Nice job.
