The Daybreak Group of Companies began in 1978 with the opening of the Lancaster Residential Center, a large Intermediate Care Facility (ICF/ID) for individuals with developmental disabilities. In the late 80’s and 90’s, seven additional ICF/ID homes were opened in Dallas County. Lancaster Residential Center voluntarily downsized in 2010 to enable the individuals there to live in smaller, group home settings. Has extensive experience in developing and managing programs for people with disabilities.
