Tuesday, May 1, 2012. March bring my babies birthday! I can't believe he's 1! We celebrated several times with our extended family but his actual day fell on a Sunday. We had one of his favorite dinners- spaghetti- and chocolate cake. He loved our families favorite chocolate sheet cake. After dinner we went to the beach for a family walk and playing catch. Tuesday, January 06, 2015. Just a couple little snippets of schooling to share today! Our fall nature table is always one of my most favorite! We had the most amazing science class right out our front door. A monarch butterfly came out of it's chrysalis on our front porch in one of my plants. The kids named it Dotty! Homeschool co-op went well, Fern my artist loved her second ceramics class. My knitting class at our homeschool co-op finished up my dyeing yarn with kool-aid! Higher Up and Further In.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Schooling is winding down here in our house, mostly because of the weather! The sun and beach are calling our names! But we are not quite done and we are still having fun! I think a good portion of our enjoyment is a good balance between doing things like learning to print or write cursive and "life learning"! KIDS ARE ALWAYS LEARNING IF WE LET THEM! Saturday, October 20, 2012. It's the end of school and that means lots of celebrating. First we had Jayne's end of year dance recital! Her 2 brothers are troopers sitting through hours of dance lessons each year waiting for her :-) I think they are her biggest fans. She looked adorable and of course did an amazing job! Our family after her recital! A fun Saturday going up in the big Orange Balloon! We finally had some time to start hitting the beach! Jayne bridged from a Daisy to a Brownie!

Monday, June 25, 2012. We started April by spending a wonderful Saturday at USC's Spring practice. We didn't get to go to a game last season because Kyle was so little and didn't do well with really loud noises. We've missed it. The kids had a blast! Friday, June 24, 2011. Jayne didn't get out of school until yesterday! It feels like everyone has been out for months and we've still be doing school everyday. I am so. excited. Hip hip hurray! We ended up only staying until about 4:30 but we managed to get on a lot of rides and I think we were both exhausted by the time we left (the girls were still going strong). Friday, July 1, 2011. It was our first official beach day of the summer (yes, Kyle's already been to the beach several times before today, but now that it's summer, it's official). The water looked like Hawaii, the air temp was perfect, we even saw a family of dolphins swim really close to shore and were jumping out of the water!
