A blog on film, politics and occasionally comedy. The Revenant: A Masterpiece Arisen. Casualties with barely anything to show for their venture, the group’s inner dynamic frays when Glass leads them to abandon their heavy encumbering pelts to begin their trek back to their fort (i.e. civilization). What follows for the rest of a film is a torrential wrenching relentless odyssey, as Glass must crawl forward not only to survive, but to see that balance is restored for those who wronged him and left him.
