I am right here sitting in the Charles de Gaulle airport in one of the most fashionable cities, feeling disgruntled, tired, and slightly bored. The kids in the transit lounge busy themselves with edging Sonic the hedgehog to charge faster across the signature white walls of Santorini on the PS3 stations. Wednesday, 16 May 2012. Barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. Then I fell pregnant. My first trimester was mostly during the summer months and in between bouts of nausea and vomiting the only thing that really brought relief and comfort was being able to stand in the kitchen barefoot!
