Friday, March 15, 2013. 5th grade students across Pennsylvania took a standardized writing test this week. They answer 20 multiple choice questions and respond to 2 different writing prompts. One question asked, "About how often do you use a computer outside of school? I saw a student filling in the "never" bubble and I, happy that I didn't have to refrain from making comments about what he was doing anymore, said, "What? Why did you say never? Have you ever used a computer outside? About, went swimmingly.

Saturday, April 7, 2012. I've been hearing a lot about green smoothies. I've been wanting to try one because everyone insists that they taste good and you can't even tell it's full of spinach. I found a recipe on pinterest awhile ago, but finally decided to try it while I was home with mono. The woman who posted the recipe claimed multiple times that it did not taste healthy. I'd agree with that. I'll try it again someday with a different recipe, but it definitely needs a little something. C jane enjoy it.
