Saturday, May 30, 2015. Last Day of School. Well, the end of May brought us the last day of school and a whole bunch of ART! Yes, there were themes, but at this point we don't remember so we will just enjoy the 4 year old style of art. It just kept coming. The art just wouldn't stop. Just kept piling up. Well clearly there were many activities in school this year. Jacob never really talked about school in a positive or negative way, but he never really talked about school at all. Last Day of School.

Monday, July 21, 2014. And I will not complain, nor brag about your sleeping habits :). I will, however, document the randomness of that 2 weeks of, well, non sleeping. We could not find you one night on the monitor. But all I had to do was look in the ridiculously messy playroom where a random umbrella was set up. At one point you became obsessed with things to take to bed that included a towel, a baby doll and your pillow and blanket. That pillow (3 months later) still is on the must have list.

Saturday, January 31, 2015. We started our family in this home and we really enjoyed living here. We had wonderful neighbors and Jacob was very well known on the street. On January 30th we took one last trip to the "old house" to show Jacob that it was empty and also to take a few pictures. Jacob ran around the rooms, but he was ready to go to the "new house" after a few minutes. And even though moving is no fun.we love the new house. Thanks, Uncle Paul! Sunday, April 5, 2015. Well Easter weekend was BEAUTIFUL! Jacob brought home some Easter appropriate art from school earlier in the week. And Katie wore her bunny tail outfit. Easter Saturday we went for the traditional Easter egg hunt and Easter basket blessing at Babcia's church. Oh what fun Jacob had collecting eggs and candies! And since Jacob is primarily a connoisseur of M&Ms, he quickly gave the candies he found to the other children. Oh what a wonderful Easter we had. Happy Easter, everyone!

Thursday, August 11, 2011. Hot Child in the City. Well actually hot child in the suburbs but that just doesn't have the same ring now does it? Anyway it has been HOT HOT HOT my love! I mean hot love like you can bake cookies on the dashboard hot, Mommy knows this for a fact because they showed it on CNN the other day! So we have been sequestered inside or if we venture out it better include a dip in the water! Good thing Uncle Lee sets up the baby pools when we come over! Anyway Poppy cannot wait to walk...

Monday, August 5, 2013. It's like the fair, right? NO - it's not. But we still had a blast! You loved riding the carousel over and over again. And loved playing all the games, too! Thursday, February 27, 2014. At a little less than 2 and 1/2 years old, you got your first hair cut. We went to Divas and Dudes and you did FANTASTIC. No tears whatsoever and you sat so still for the lady. While we didn't do anything drastic, we just got a nice clean cut going, which made it look even prettier than it was before! This tiara was well deserved! As were the braid and sparkles in your hair! Clara Lee and Ellie's Birthdays. Only time will tell :). Em was a perfect server, white gloves and all.

Tuesday, September 30, 2014. September was all about the blue, squares, and the number 2! We can't get much out of Jacob about his masterpieces, but if we act really excited he will smile and tell us what the item is. In Jacob's own words here we have. Two, Blue, and Squares in crayon, marker, and paint, oh my! There were many blue squares this month and I may have missed some, but you get the general idea of the types of blue squares that made it home. Lastly, Jacob explored plants! Preschool is so fun!
