Ponderings of an Inquisitor. How you do ANYthing is how you do EVERYthing. but you can't change EVERYthing all at once! So on my quest to becoming a better person. more intentional about how I live my life, I've discovered a profound truth. Admitting you need to change is the first step towards change, but if you try to take on all your changes at once, you tend to fail simply because you're so overwhelmed with things! 1 My giving (or lack thereof) of my time, money and pride. 5 etc, etc., etc.

http://vanessblog.blogspot.com/2007/09/vegas-day-3-51307.html
Ponderings of an Inquisitor. Vegas, day 3 (5/13/07). This was the view from our hotel room at The Wynn. SO pretty! After sleeping in a bit, we all got ready for Mother's Day breakfast (as did the rest of the hotel guests! Dr C (JP's dad) and I walked downstairs to wait in line while JP and M (JP's Mom) finished getting ready. After about 25 minutes, we were seated at this really neat couch-like booth. We celebrated with rasberry champagne and a peach belini, along with our normal breakfast meal.

http://vanessblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/so.html
Ponderings of an Inquisitor. Apparently you fall off the face of the planet when you get engaged. not really, but I have certainly been doing a lot of new things in the last 6 months! I started a new job that I absolutely love - it's like a dream come true, helping hispanic families, homeless people, low-income families, older people and more. I've been updating the church website. Which has been a neat experience for me. I'm still learning a lot, and I have a long way to go, but it's a decent start!

Ponderings of an Inquisitor: Different Kinds of Friends
http://vanessblog.blogspot.com/2009/02/different-kinds-of-friends.html
Ponderings of an Inquisitor. Different Kinds of Friends. A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your 'Pepsi drawer' with her foot! A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend's shoulder is soggy from your tears. A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in their address book. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

Ponderings of an Inquisitor: April 2004
http://vanessblog.blogspot.com/2004_04_01_archive.html
Ponderings of an Inquisitor. May I never forget that special time of the night that reminds me that I'm still "Daddy's little girl". Just before he goes to bed, dad does any last minute dishes and goes to the bathroom one time for safekeeping. Then he plops down into his blue wheelchair and rolls across the tile-layed floor of Joe's old room. Then he recaps anything for tommorrow - like, tonight he said, "Maybe tommorrow we can find a worker to help out your mom" "Okay dad" "Okay, see you in the morning".
