Bell Springs mountain is home to a wide variety of plants in part due to its transitional location between coastal and inland ecosystems. An elevation of 3500', 70 inches of annual rainfall and four seasons define our climate. My photographs were taken in the natural environment using only sunlight for illumination. The flowers and background are exactly as found. The plein air photoshoot requires calm wind, favorable light, fresh blooms and mosquito repellant. Single stamp in rolls and sheets.
