Sunday, 29 June 2008. 2008 Jun - Meeting Chai and Lee Kian. Suky informed that her ex-colleagues'll be visiting 28-30June. Since we were acquainted in HLB, I decided to join them (Chai and Lee Kian). Apart from shopping, we had good meals:. Enjoying pork ribs @ Tony Roma's in Orchard (dinner on 28 Jun). Gosh, you should check out the condition of the room my colleagues and I (altogether 4 of us) were placed in. Friday, 4 December 2009. Time flew by.what happened to my 2009? Dearie me. It's lunch time and I took the opportunity to log in. Just realised that I've not posted anything here since Feb'09. I'll try to post pix when I'm on leave 24-29 Dec. But in the meantime and in short:. Apr'09 Cheng Beng/Qing Ming in Ranong Province, Thailand with my parents and younger brother. June'09 Jiuzaigou and Chengdu - yeah, I was in panda-land with Wendy and her mom. Sep'09 My 2nd anniversary working in Singapore.

Friday, 19 December 2008. Last look @ Suky's Bishan 8. Suky's year long tenure was cut short and today's her last day in Bishan 8 Condo. At her request, I brought my camera along and took the following shots for her to remember the place by.I'll also miss going for weekend swimming sessions, especially Suky's company for the weekend when I felt like window shopping.those were the good times. Monday, 31 March 2008. Lunch @ La Carambole, Hue. As La Carambole was mentioned in one of Trixy's Vietnam guide, we decided to go there for lunch. It's located at 19 Pham Ngu Lao St (pronounced as Phab Ngu Lao). We ordered USD8 and USD10 Vietnamese set meal. Found nothing specially good, as u can see above :(. Friday, 25 April 2008. Arrghhh.Shopping for dinner dress. My older bro's wedding's next month and I've yet to get myself a dress. My Mom informed that for the reception, I should get a long dress either in the shades of gold, cream or brown. To those who know me, you know it's difficult to see me in a skirt. Thus needless to say that it's the same for seeing me in a dress. What should I do? Rope in cousins for assistance :D. Sunday, 1 February 2009. My condolences to Trixy and family. A rewind back to Sep/ Oct 2008.Trixy shared the dreaded new that her Mom's afflicted with pancreatic cancer. My thought immediately went back in time to 1988 when I lost my grandmother to the same type of cancer. I could feel her anguish as I've seen the suffering. I made a silent promise to drop in for a visit when I'm home. I probably managed to visit twice. Well, Mrs Daisy was my teacher before Trixy and I were friends. 'cher taught me.
