Two years ago (2012) I hiked the Te Araroa Trail. I met many people and had many experiences along the way but perhaps two of my favorite two people are Ludo and Flore. This Blog is about building our new home on Whidbey Island. Our designer and builder is Brad Hankins, doing business as Design Build Brad. This small 870 sq. ft. home is made up of three buildings and incorporates sustainable building practices, including solar hot water collectors, roof water collection system and native plant restoration.
