Italian Cooking Class in Ormond Beach. May 11, 2010 at 10:29 pm. There will be a Northern Italian Cooking class under the instruction of Francesca Johnston being offered at The Casements, 25 Riverside Drive, Ormond Beach:. The class will be from 5:30 to 9 pm on May 19. It will include instructions to prepare Linguini with white clam sauce, beef rolls with red cabbage and chianti wine, carrots with garlic and capers and Italian chocolate mousse. Cost is $75 per class. Class size is limited.

April 11, 2010 at 3:15 pm. Just like most great seafood establishments in Florida (not the R*D LOB@#! The wait staff is just as friendly as the outside appearance. You have great locals like Alma and Donny who will serve your food and be grateful to answer any questions you might have about the menu, and they’ll do it honestly. During certain seasons, you may even eat a fish that Donny caught himself! How about that for fresh? Speaking of fresh, the food at Down the Hatch is pretty decent also!

Word to the wise, just because Picasso’s aren’t hanging from the walls and Mozart isn’t being played in the corner, doesn’t meant the food ain’t damned good) After standing around for a bit waiting to be approached, I discovered that they don’t care where you sit, just grab a table and a waitress will be right there.
