Having recently moved to Oulu, Northern Finland, I am busy networking, researching and applying for funding to kickstart my Finnish artistic practice. January 9, 2017. Gained a grant from AVEK to start developing a system that integrates human interaction and digital sound and visual environments. The plan is to apply the system in the creation of a performance about the Finnish epic, Kalevala. This is going to be our first children’s production and it will include dance, song, storytelling and interactive sound and visual environment – quite a mixture.
