Tracy's Vintage Corner. August 29, 2015. Wonder what to do with that old teacup and saucer that you found in the back of grandma’s cabinet? I picked this little cup and saucer up at an antique booth at the flea market and turned it into a pin cushion! The next time you see a lonely little cup and saucer at the antique mall for $2, Grab It! This little guy will be a birthday gift for my mother in law…assuming I have the courage to let it go. It’s just so darn cute! Posted in In My Craft Room. Create a fre...

Food for Dissertating: ECO Lunchbox Three-in-One #10
http://foodfordissertating.blogspot.com/2015/08/eco-lunchbox-three-in-one-10.html
A tale of lunch, graduate school, and post-academic life. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. ECO Lunchbox Three-in-One #10. An effort at a composed salad that might as well be known as "tomatoes and eggs on a bed of romaine with yogurt ranch dressing," a stuff-from-the-fridge pasta salad (sugar snap peas, bell peppers, and mayonnaise), some mandarin oranges, and cherries. Cherries were on sale for $2.00/pound, so you'll be seeing lots of them this week. Labels: ECO Lunchbox Three-in-One. Some Good Lunch Blogs.

Tossed salad (romaine, grape tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, almonds) with yogurt ranch dressing, cherries, brioche toast, and olive tapenade hummus topped with chunks of pepperoni and a scallion garnish. A tale of lunch, graduate school, and post-academic life. Saturday, November 29, 2014. Tortilla and cream cheese pinwheels and Honeycrisp apple slices in the two small containers from my Lunchopolis set. Quite a good contrast of textures, and the flavors worked well together. Food for Dissertating: 3-Tier Bottle Bento #7
http://foodfordissertating.blogspot.com/2015/08/3-tier-bottle-bento-7.html
A tale of lunch, graduate school, and post-academic life. Monday, August 3, 2015. 3-Tier Bottle Bento #7. Cherries, a stuffed egg, and mozzarella/tomato/cucumber salad. The salad was this recipe. While perfectly edible, I think I could improve on it; I think basil would make much more sense than tarragon would. But it was pretty! Labels: 3-Tier Bottle Bento. http://foodfordissertating.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
A tale of lunch, graduate school, and post-academic life. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Another reason was that the grocery store was out of the bread I would usually buy, and I ended up with a small loaf of extremely thin-sliced white instead. It was practically begging to be turned into cucumber sandwiches. Friday, February 27, 2015. Mini chicken biscuits, grapes, multicolored bell pepper strips, snow peas, baby carrots, edamame hummus, and mixed heirloom tomatoes. This post is shared on:. The main prob...
