Thing 20: Online storage and sharing Dropbox, Onenote and Evernote, Google Drive. In this particular blog, I have decided to compare and contrast these two cloud storage software available for free use to anyone on the move …. Personally, I registered to both. Storage nowadays is a necessary and expensive commodity and it is never enough. Have a few extra Gigabytes is always a plus! Our website – http:/ aspire.stmartins.edu/. Education…Touching Lives forever. Thing 19: Using Communication Tools in the Classroom. I have no experience at using Kwiksurveys, but I have used Google Forms and Survey Monkey to draw up questionnaires and whilst I have found them both to be very easy to use (remember that when I get stuck I like to get help form the online video tutorials available) I tend to prefer using Survey Monkey as I seem to have got accustomed to its features and style. I am passionate about quality education! July 13, 2015.

Education…Touching Lives forever. Thing 17: Going beyond Powerpoint: Prezi and Slideshare. My concern is, however, that too many Prezi’s many lose their impact, and perhpas deter students from the main aspect of the presentation – the content (rather than the visual). So my intention is to use Prezi occasionally, and still remain loyal to Powerpoint, which I find has been really designed with the classroom context in mind (with the different printable versions in note form etc). Thing 13: Exploring Flickr or other photo sharing sites for finding images for teaching. I have had a flickr account for a number of years now, yet I never really uploaded anything. I used this account for better access to a multitude of photos which could give me ideas for new paintings and more recently for my work while painting on a graphics tablet using Adobe Photoshop. Thing 21: Managing Information: Zotero and Mendeley. I must admit that up until this very moment I did not know about the existence of Zotero.
