In 1959, Bill Walsh Sr. loaded up his pick up truck with samples of hardwood sawdust from a local sawmill and met with the purchasing agent at Swift Meat Packing Company in Portland, OR. He was hired by Swift to haul the sawdust, bought his first tractor and trailer and a company was born. Family owned and operated for two generations.
