Now, Caelan, Connor, and Will are all sick. The first night Caelan actually slept most of the night was last night. Connor and Will are making regular nightly visits. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Today's been a day filled with sweetness. It's Connor's two year birthday, and to celebrate, Eric and I wanted to do something really special. So in the morning, as soon as breakfast was over and William was in bed for his first nap (it seems wrong to take a nap at 7:30 am, but hey, he's already been up for hours). Monday, August 18, 2008. Things I love to hear. I had just changed Caelan's diaper (yup, we're STILL not potty-trained) and was washing my hands downstairs. I came back a few seconds later to hear Caelan say, "Where were you? Washing my hands," I replied. "Why? Because I MISSED you.". It just doesn't get better than that! Posted by Melissa C. Monday, January 05, 2009. I just had to capture Caelan's latest prayer over lunch:. I appreciate that school is so fun to me. And mommy is my special friend and a bad guy. I was a bad guy too first. And she's a good queen. And now we're happy.". I'm not sure how I segued into being a bad guy after the glowing recommendation that we're special friends, but I sure had a hard time not bursting into laughter. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Outings at the Park. They are getting to be really good buddies, and they're starting to look like fraternal twins. So far, Caelan's managing to keep up with Connor's growth spurts, but I think one day in the not too distant future, he's going to be eclipsed. Monday, June 16, 2008. One of the things I love most about Connor. Are his expressions. He has such an expressive face and a million different emotions to convey. I have only been able to capture a fraction on film, but every single time I see them, I laugh. Caelan gets out of trouble by saying funny things, and I'm sure that will come for Connor too, but Connor gets out of trouble just by looking so mischievous that we can't help but laugh.
