Rowland Around: December 2010
http://rowland-around.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 29, 2010. NCAA, is supposedly a non-profit organization that is responsible for the interpretation and enforcement of the policies and rules which govern NCAA athletics. I have a problem with NCAA but not so much that I want them to go away. Right or wrong I have an opinion and thanks to my blog I get to vent about it! I know there are stories as to how the players didn't know they were breaking any rules or how a player was trying to gather money for his sick mother, really? The olde...

Rowland Around: Christmas Thoughts
http://rowland-around.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-thoughts.html
Friday, December 17, 2010. You might read this and say, "well where's the problem? Today, well it's the commercialism of Christmas, the "Political Correctness" of Christmas. It gets my goat when I see commercials that say have a Happy Holiday instead of Merry Christmas. I'm not to big on people substituting the Christ. In Christmas with and X. Either. Though we are a nation of various cultures with various religious beliefs, Christmas is a Christian. December 20, 2010 at 2:17 PM. Well said, Dale. The...

Rowland Around: November 2010
http://rowland-around.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. I have had the pleasure to attend a Major League Baseball Play-off game this year in Texas, referee a High School Play-off game, and attend an NFL Football game, but none of these games compare to the Arkansas-LSU game I attended Saturday night. I have never been a part of such a loud enthusiastic crowd! The fans at War Memorial Stadium Saturday night were deafening and I believe had a huge part in the successful outcome of the game for Arkansas fans. Monday, November 22, 2010.

Rowland Around: February 2009
http://rowland-around.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 10, 2009. For the love of the game. Lord, before I got out of coaching that first thing I would have to do was break habits that the youngsters had learned by watching the players today. It was difficult to bat everybody through batting practise on that first practise because the kid would take a swing and want to back out of the batters box and adjust, EVERYTHING! We get to play baseball! Here's a poem my son wrote about his love of the game enjoy! 8220;A Day at the Ballpark”. I’...

Saturday, January 31, 2009. MARK, JACQI, AND JULIA. Thursday, January 29, 2009. What do you do when you try to help someone that needs help but they keep sabotaging themselves? When you see your loved ones suffer through things and you try to get them help but they refuse, it rips your heart out. What do you do? Well, I'll tell you, when it comes to love ones especially, you fight! With everything that is within you, you fight and you pray! I feel a little bit better now thanks for listening! Tuesday, Ja...

Rowland Around: A Christmas to Remember
http://rowland-around.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-to-remember.html
Monday, December 27, 2010. A Christmas to Remember. Well, I survive another Christmas and I will have to say, with the exception of Billy and Ashlee not being able to come home, this was years celebration was one of the better ones! We had tons of food, family and fun! My daughter-in-law Lindsey, at my request, made me a key lime pie. We had a tasty ham and a turkey breast off the rotisserie! Of course she got the first gift and I immediately passed out gifts to the other Princesses and Partners! Sounds ...

Rowland Around: September 2010
http://rowland-around.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 27, 2010. I can safely that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my heart! On Saturday afternoon, my Texas Rangers clinched the AL West by defeating the Oakland A's. The Sunday they came back and left little doubt in MLB that they were for real by putting up 16 runs against the A's in the finale. I can't wait to see them in two weeks as they play their first play-off game in 11 years in the Ballpark in Arlington. Friday, September 24, 2010. With 7 minutes and 42 seconds to go in the 4...
