The Kartchner's: June 2014
http://keepingitkartchner.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 26, 2014. First time I felt the baby move was during the Sunday morning session. I was so excited, and kept trying to get Devon to feel it. With Alan, Megan, Logan, and Todd. October 7, 2013. It was a lot of fun. We got to watch pig races, tractor rides, pick our own pumpkins and do two different corn mazes and a train ride. Ultrasound at 22 weeks. October 9, 2013. He didn't cooperate to well the first time so we had to go in for another ultrasound. Which I didn't mind. Oct 19, 2013. Sorry...

Serving in Chile Concepcion Mission. Monday, May 19, 2014. GOD'S POWER HERE ON EARTH. Our Heavenly Father has all intentions of blessing us in our daily lives! This week I was struggling a little bit as my companion and I were rejected house after house, person after person, getting a little discouraged day after day of that happening! Investigators saying "Sorry we don't want you coming back anymore! I asked my companion if he could give me a blessing and wow what a injection of energy! 180; Then with y...

The Carlson Family: And Then There Were Two
http://followingthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2012/07/and-then-there-were-two.html
Saturday, July 28, 2012. And Then There Were Two. The past several weeks have been an adventure, to say the least. Having baby number two is one of those experiences that, though you "know" it will be a big adjustment ahead of time, you're never really prepared for. When I feel most like I'm drowning in my, well, my inability to adjust, I sort of cling to the reassurances and empathy of many good mom friends. It's strange how knowing that it is. Overwhelmed much more often than I see. The only way he wil...

The Carlson Family: November 2012
http://followingthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 8, 2012. James hasn't been feeling too well recently. Since being under-the-weather has made him a sleepy little boy, Cambrie and I have been taking advantage of the one-on-one time we've had. What do we usually do when we need a project that a three-year-old can participate in and a Mommy also enjoys? Head to the kitchen! Cambrie got the extra dough for her own little pie crust. It was so cute to see her rolling it out, pressing it into the pie dish, using it as playdough, etc. While ...

Following Mama: May 2014
http://followingmama.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 15, 2014. Just a Little Longer. Last night, putting James to bed was a bit of a feat. His little body, wired from the long hours since his last nap and fueled by the dinner we were still clearing off the table, was everywhere. He was moving and moving fast- giggling, sprinting from room to room, shrieking, leaping onto my back for a horsey ride as I cleaned up the food beneath his tray. This is how most pictures of him turn out. He sure loves his hooded towels, though. To stick to some of t...

Hirst Happenings: Introducing...
http://danandlaurenhirst.blogspot.com/2012/02/introducing.html
Thursday, February 9, 2012. Born: Thursday, December 22, 2011. 7 lbs, 11.6 ounces, 20 inches long. This old news may come as a shock to some of you. It's my fault for not blogging for a year and a half. But better late than never, right? As for the "Birth Story". My due date was December 26th. I went in for a regular check up on Wednesday, December 21st. I sarcastically mentioned to the nurse that it would be really nice to have the baby before Christmas. Early Christmas gift, right? Should I be induced?

The Carlson Family: Mr. James, Kiddo Extraordinaire
http://followingthecarlsons.blogspot.com/2012/10/mr-james-kiddo-extraordinaire.html
Monday, October 1, 2012. Mr James, Kiddo Extraordinaire. I recently wrote another little gush-y post about my daughter and her awesome learning-and-growing skills. I knew it would be fun watching my kids grow and develop. What I wasn't sure about is how exciting it would be the second time around. Would everything be old news? Would I have time to appreciate any of it? Love love love this boy. Let there be no doubt: it is still way exciting. Our first adventure. (Still in progress, of course.). That's no...
