Limiting the Output Torque. With a maximum impacting torque of 1,050 ft/lbs, for many applications it will be necessary to "limit" the tool's impacting strength. This is easily done by attaching a "torque limiting extension" then running the tool in bursts of 1-2 seconds. Extensions are calibrated to. 175, 250, 350, 475 and 650* ft/lbs. As the video reveals, the vehicle quickly started with the unit's on board LED voltage meter revealing that the alternator was putting out 27.5 volts.
