Teepookana River Retreat is only a 3 hour drive from Melbourne. Located between Echuca and Barmah,Teepookana River Retreat is approximately 30 kms upstream from Echuca along the Murray River towards Barmah. You can drive from Echuca along the Cobb Highway through Moama or if you prefer to get off the higway you can travel along the very picturesque Stewarts Bridge Road. From Shepparton it is an easy drive along the Barmah Shepparton Road. A 20 min drive to Nathalia. Dinkarna Holiday Cottages 2011 - 2014.

Teepookana River Retreat is fully self contained and can accommodate up to 8 people. There are three bedrooms, one has a Double bed, one has a Queen bed and the other has two sets of bunk beds. There is a full kitchen including dishwasher, a dining and a lounge room area, 2 ensuite bathrooms and laundry facilities. There is an undercover BBQ area (complete with a pot belly stove for the cooler months) available to use. Dinkarna Holiday Cottages 2011 - 2014.

From the early morning kookaburra call to the late night camp fire. We loved the surroundings especially the pool and the river. We counted 31 bird species, (Roland said there are over 200) so we still have a way to go. Caught a fish and a rabbit (Cameron). Thank you Roland and Di. We'll be back next year! Back again and it was just as great as last time! Lovely trip to Ulupna Island yesterday - saw about 30 koalas including a very cute baby. Another great few days! Kath, Jim, Cameron and Lochie.
