As requested, an update on my progress in the grocery shopping area. =p I have located the potatoes, and am satisfied that they are edible, if somewhat different. I even found these ridiculously tiny potatoes in Trader Joe's, but I haven't tried them out yet. Still too scared of the oven to try roasting food in it. Biscuits. No, not biscuit. Biscuits.
