The next day, we took a train to Kandersteg and a cable car up to Lake Oeshinen (or locally referred to as Oeschinensee). Kandersteg reminds me the movie 'Heidi'! The pictures obviously do not do this place justice, but I'm sure most people can see the resemblance to the movie! Doesn't this place resemble Heidi? Oeschinensee on a cloudy summer day.

Friday, December 4, 2009. 8th November - Flew to Kota Kinabalu to meet up with Sari, Erik and Daniel. Then started diving lessons together with Erik on the 9th! The first day was a bit of a bore - a full day of theory classes. Luckily Erik turned out to have pretty good memory; else I probably wouldn't have done too well in the silly test. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Redang, 11th-14th April 2012. Second trip of the year! Went to Redang with Yap, Ong, Bernie and Liam and stayed at Redang Reef. Hotel food was really nice - home cooked food! Good to have a hearty soup and meals while on holiday! A nice change from the usual continental food that hotels generally serve.
