Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Flowers - my favorite living things. When I first bought this house. The east side was full of lemon grass. It did nothing to keep the morning sun from beating on that east wall. It heated up the whole house. In the evening you could still feel the heat in that wall. Monday, August 4, 2014. A break from the New Orleans saga. To show you my yard. This is the new passion vine. This is one of the other passion vines. The sky vine - taking over the east wall. This is yet another species of passion vine. They call this the butterfly plant. They love it - their caterpillars eat it down to nothing. And it comes back the next year.
