Casting process — Imogen
http://imogen.shakespearesglobe.com/casting-process
As part of a wider casting process, we consulted leading London arts charities supporting underrepresented and disadvantaged young people through drama. These included:. Generation Arts supports marginalised and disadvantaged young people through theatre. They specialise in working with young people not in education, employment or training, and who may be at risk of, or have experienced, social exclusion. Deafinitely Theatre aims to nurture and showcase deaf talent, from all ages and backgrounds. .

Witte zwanen, zwarte zwanen: juli 2007
http://naarengelandvaren.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Witte zwanen, zwarte zwanen. Maandag, juli 30, 2007.
Letter to a Brexit Voter – Paul Burgess
https://pauldburgess.wordpress.com/2017/01/01/letter-to-a-brexit-voter
Theatre-maker, musician, facilitator, teacher. January 1, 2017. Letter to a Brexit Voter. Instead, I am going to talk about my personal experience. Why? Because I want you to know that we’re not enemies. And then I want to talk about how we can move on. Politicians and media alike have painted us as opposites in some kind of culture war. I disagree. I think we’ve fallen out over a big misunderstanding. It’s not another Agincourt though. It’s more like Towton, where 28,000 Englishmen died on the battl...

Theatre and Acting well you can like it or loath it, performing has to be one of those marmite activities which people often aspire to but find the fear factor too great when it comes to being in front of an audience but you know everyone enjoys watching but it takes a great person to perform. I have yet to meet a teen that doesn't enjoy joking and goofing around with their friends. The only difference between deaf and hearing kids is they speak a different language. That's it! Our concept is - if you "want in" on the fun look up the sign language alphabet. You might even find you want to keep learning their language. Maybe take up an ASL course? Maybe strike up a conversation with each other? Or maybe start a petition for more closed captioning from networks? Fun awareness = improvement.

Loving and Labouring
Thursday, 31 May 2012. Apologies for the lack of updates following our Globe performances last week. We haven't quite yet recovered. The response from audiences has been amazing as have the reviews such as this one from The Guardian. Since Globe shows last week the actors have been on tour to Ipswich and Wolverhampton. It was hard for them to adjust from performing in front of 1500 people to an audience of just 60 or 70 - not quite the same buzz as you might imagine! Monday, 21 May 2012. As we edge ever ...
