Sunday, June 1, 2014. We went to the Houston Zoo this month. The pink flamingos REALLY stunk! So now, when something stinks really bad, Brooklyn says, "Peeeww. it stinks like flamingos! We were SO glad we found this splash pad, 'cuz it was so hot and sticky! Brooke participated in swim lessons through the YMCA, and did really really well! Brooke loves driving and riding, in her car! Sunday, April 6, 2014. In March, we got to go to South Padre Island and spend a couple of days at the beach. Mike's parents came for a visit and were able to come with us. It was SO beautiful there and we had such a fun time. Brooklyn could've played in the sand for hours and hours. That was her favorite. Don't be fooled by this picture, the water was pretty cold! David made some hungry friends! The beach was the prettiest and nicest beach I have ever seen! Such nice soft sand! Even the pool was freezing!

Sunday, March 1, 2015. Sydney and Brooklyn both started Spring Soccer this month. Here's some pictures of Sydney, although, they don't do her justice. She is really becoming quite a good soccer player! Brooke really wanted to play too! It's funny to watch the little kids play, and poor Brooke does more chasing than kicking, but it's good exercise for her, and she says she likes it. :). Sunday, June 7, 2015. I had a great Mother's Day. My awesome family took over the cooking and cleaning and let me have a day off! I really love watching them cook together in the kitchen for some reason! They all got me a much needed new toaster oven! And these cute blocks. okay, I made them for myself. But I really like them :). We took lots of walks this month, which involved lots of turtles and frogs! Brooke loves working on her preschool pages! She's getting quite good at her letters and numbers.

Sunday, February 9, 2014. We started the New Year with Livia's Birthday on the 9th, where she turned 13 (*sniff sniff*) My little baby is a TEENAGER! She may be a teenager now, but her taste buds haven't changed much from when she was 5! She has chosen the SAME birthday dinner for years now! Totinos Pizza with Caesar Salad! Along with chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with chocolate ice cream! All but one or two showed up too! I decorated the house as best as I knew how :). And got a TON of balloons!
