They are especially memorable to us as they usually meant that we were in trouble! I’m frying an egg. The response given when we asked Dad what he was doing, usually a spot of DIY. Eg Dad is fixing the toaster. Me Dad, what are you doing? Dad I’m frying an egg. It’s like Picadilly Bloody Circus. It’s like Blackpool Bloody Illuminations.
