Reaching New Heights: Mother of Two
http://thesmithstendermercies.blogspot.com/2015/07/mother-of-two.html
July 13, 2015. My due date was April 16th. The Dr had me scheduled to be induced on my due date. She says that I have "big babies" and she didn't want me to risk having complications. On the 14th, I started having stronger contractions in the afternoon. I timed them and kept track. They were about every 10 minutes. Then my sister-in-law came over with her baby. We talked and played. I was distracted and didn’t think about the contractions as much. After she left, Josh came home and we ate a late dinner.

Reaching New Heights: And A Happy New Year
http://thesmithstendermercies.blogspot.com/2015/01/and-happy-new-year.html
January 02, 2015. And A Happy New Year. Moving was a bit stressful, but so rewarding. Josh and I are settled into our new home. We are loving our house and the neighborhood. I think that my favorite part about our new house is the large window that is high above our entryway. I like to watch the stars through that window at night. I also love that it is outlined with icicles. What am I going to accomplish? What goals am I going to achieve.or even set for that matter? Adriaan is more independent now and I...

Reaching New Heights: Where Your Heart Is
http://thesmithstendermercies.blogspot.com/2014/11/where-your-heart-is.html
November 10, 2014. Where Your Heart Is. We are super excited to be home owners and a little nervous about the responsibilities that come along with it. If you are looking for some books for your little one, here are my suggestions. We have about 140 board books and these are the same books that Adriaan pulls out every time. He absolutely loves these books, and I do too.for the most part. (There are one or two that make me cringe, but I can't resist his love for books.). November 10, 2014 at 12:01 PM.

Yardley Family: May 2011

Monday, May 9, 2011. I had a wonderful weekend! My graduation Friday was fabulous! Have you ever read or heard of the book Tuesdays with Morrie? First, he started by telling a story of a country Pastor who wanted to "Put the fear of God" into his congregation so he got up and started a pretty loud sermon and said, "ALL OF YOU, EVERYONE OF THIS CONGREGATION, WILL ONE DAY DIE! He told us what he hopes for us to hear at the end of his speech- I'll fill you in in a min! So why don't you? Spend time on people!
