Saturday, September 27, 2008. And so it continues. Ok, so we knew today would be a busy day. plans to go to Broom's Apple Festival with the family and some friends, drive to Mt. Vernon to our hotel, then to the Gospel Sing in Odin, to supper, and back to our hotel in Mt. Vernon to sleep before going to church in Odin again where Paul is speaking. As we got into the front door of the church, I saw a sign on the door that said Gospel Sing 6:00 PM! It must be one of my giftings.tardiness! And so it continues.

Friday, October 3, 2008. So, how on earth do single mom's do it? Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Trying to trust.and not freak out! I knew today would be a busy day, but wasn't expecting it to be quite so expensive. We had four dentist appointment and two eye appointments today, so I knew there would be some cash flow going out, but my my my! This is the short version of my day. Joshua, and I all go to the dentist for cleanings and a check up. Kaitlyn is all good.no cavities! All this to say, I am REALLY try...

Friday, March 6, 2009. Transition.blessing or curse? As I look ahead to the next several months, transition is about all I see. I had a wonderful conversation with a close friend last night and then spent several hours meditating on the idea of change. Good.Bad? I came to this conclusion. If we want the things we build to last, we have to build them to change. Change should be a core value in all we do. I think we too often think the things we build should last longer than they do. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Everyday we ALL make decisions. We are confronted with options and it forces to pick one option or the other. I've examined myself and have began to ask some hard questions. Why do I make the decisions I do? Why do I pick one option over the next? Well, I know that I don't have all the answers, but there are some guidelines I am trying to abide by. Here's a few:. To be decisive and not indifferent. To take risks over security. So, last time I updated on my right hip, I'd had a steroid injection which worked, then wore off. I always saw this as a Diagnostic injection, to pin point why it was hurting so bad, not as a curative. So when it wore off, as sad as I was, I was chuffed it had worked a bit and identified where the issue was. Fingers crossed it won't be too long. Hip Update, so much has gone on!
