Monday, 9 December 2013. Harassed I tell you, that’s what I was and by my friends no less. Let me explain how it happened. I spent a couple of hours prepping the kitchen and was just about to start when my phone started beeping. It was friend number one, aforementioned who had given me a nudge to get my kitchen sorted in the first place. ‘Measure your kitchen windows for me and I’ll pick up the new blinds for you.’. Monday, 20 May 2013. I poured copious amounts of alcohol down the drain. I tried everything I could possibly think of to make a difference. Nothing I did seemed to work. I was exhausted with the weight of it all. I’d like to be able to tell you that I came to a rational, informed and calm decision to walk away but it didn’t happen like that.
