It's the little things in life that matter most. August 30, 2010. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Matt. My Brother Matt and his wife Sarah also recently flew down from Utah to visit the family. They came to our house for a couple of days for some beach fun, Eli and Brynn love nothing more than the beach with doting Aunt's and Uncle's. Eli loves playing in the waves and running from them. Brynn is so scared of the waves that she won't go in unless being held, which is funny because she begs me to go to the beach.

But then I remember that these are the same young soldiers that volunteer their time to help out at my children's school functions because so many of the parents are deployed and unable to volunteer, and I find it easier to forgive. It's the little things in life that matter most. August 31, 2011. Eli's First Day of School. Last week, which is a two year kindergarten. That our school district designed for kids who have very late birthdays, like Eli. It's perfect for us, 5 days a week, but half day, unlike the full day kindergartners.
