HannaPalooza: February 2010
http://hannapalooza.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 22, 2010. Before and Almost After. The inside of the room. Here is what the room looked like the day we closed- so lovely those carpets. We decided before we moved in that we were going to put hardwood in here to match the rest of the front of the house, so this carpet was gone in the first few days. And why only half the wall? So the first thing that happened was we had to sand the lower half of the wall. And by "we" I mean Jill. Beeea- U- Ti- Ful! And now. Ta Dah! We bought a desk and ...

Friday, April 30, 2010. A nice capture of my two guys! And I realized that yes almost 2 months had passed and Justin needed a haircut. But before I ran out and got him one (2 weeks later). He went to school like this one day. We warned him that kids might laugh at him and make fun of him but he said he didn't care he would just ignore them. He admits to taking them out after a few kids laughed at him. Things found in my front yard. Just look out the back window and yell "Moose! The kids had fun but I don...

Here's what's Cookin': May 2009
http://ebcook84.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Confessions of a harried (but motivated) mom. Monday, May 25, 2009. Sunday - headed home back to real life. We started out early, 6am, and started back home. The trip was uneventful, and thanks to the GPS, it was traffic-jam free all the way back up north. We got home by 5! Nevertheless, we're already planning our next kid-free trip for 2010 - cruise to Bermuda! Saturday in Yorktown Battlefield. Saturday we enjoyed Belgian. We did just that and man, was it crowded! We walked all around, stopping in the k...

HannaPalooza: March 2010
http://hannapalooza.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 25, 2010. Today I sent the kids out for the bus. The stop is at our driveway, convenient. The neighbors went down the street instead today (don't know why), so it was just my kids. I spied on them through the window. They seemed to be enjoying each others company for a few minutes. They got on the bus. Just like the cat. And then, I got busted. And those of you with keen eyes will notice the wallpaper in the dining room has been torn down- next room on the hit list. Tuesday, March 9, 2010.

Hartzog Happenings: August 2009
http://hartzogfamily.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. First Day of the "S" Word.(School! All week the kids have been moaning about school. Granted, they were in one of the country's greatest vacation spots EVER (OBX) so I cut them some slack. It became very apparent on Sunday night (after a 12 hour drive home on Saturday) that Devin was actually a little bit happy about going back (but continued to deny it with a sly little smile) and Julia grew increasingly more wary. Neil and I shot each other a look and burst out laughing. An...

Love the show, love the guys, happy happy. Well, they were right around the corner from us at Pettibone's. Darn it! How fun would it have been just to go see the big black SUV's parked outside? Just for fun, here is my sister with Steve. LOVE Steve. AND he's a Red Sox fan. I think they should marry. September 10, 2008 at 4:12 PM.

Hartzog Happenings: December 2009
http://hartzogfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 18, 2009. Yes, we're stalkers. The kids, my sister and I. I'm sure there's a 12 step program for it, but I don't care! I got a very excited call from my sister one Wednesday in late September telling me that a TAPS van was parked outside Trader Joe's. TAPS stands for The Atlantic Paranormal Society and they are featured in the SyFy Network show "Ghosthunters". Heather, Devin and I are avid fans of the show, and Heather has met Steve G.,. As you may recall. We had Sunday dinner/game night...

Hartzog Happenings: May 2009
http://hartzogfamily.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Been dreading this post. So, I have been extremely absent from my blog primarily because I knew I had to write this post first and I haven't been able to stomach it until now. We lost our beloved Oreo less than a week after I took the top right photo in the collage. We have heard tales in our neighborhood about some animal (hawk? The timing of our trip to Florida couldn't have been better. We got a nice change of scenery and it helped to heal our broken hearts. Max, our othe...So, h...

Friday, April 23, 2010. When we got back Jane invited us over to her hotel to swim. She was staying at a beautiful place right on the water with 3 pools and a hot tub. The kids pool was a combination splash pool and got a little deeper. It was nice and warm! The kids had a blast, and so did the grown ups! Wednesday, April 14, 2010. After a brief period of hibernation. We're here for rest, relaxation and to celebrate Gaga's 90th birthday! Lunch at Juno Beach Cafe (of course! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Hartzog Happenings: July 2009
http://hartzogfamily.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. You know you're old when. Your cake catches on fire. Just sayin'. Happy Birthday, Sissy! It was funny to watch our grown up boys acting as role models while I watched the younger scouts running amok. It wasn't but a few years ago it was our little Tiger Cubs who were dancing with ants in their pants. Ellen and I were very much thinking about the 5th grade yearbook as we gathered our boys together for a "class shot". Ah, one of 4,000 pix down. Must be time to Celebrate WH! Every t...
