I was born a scant 5 miles west of Liverpool, across the river Mersey, in Wallasey; which at the time was a small town in rural Cheshire, (now it's in Merseyside). After studying photography in college, I set out to seek my fortune; I spent nearly a decade as a photographer on cruise ships, based in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, sailing to Mexico, Canada and the Islands of the Caribbean.
