Needles, Sticks and Hooks. Sewing, knitting, crochet, gardening. Sunday, August 31, 2014. Were very welcome this weekend in Melbourne. The glorious weather inspired me to spend some quality time in my rather uncared for garden. More rays of sunshine too, but this time the kind that come from a job finished in a pleasing manner. This is the first block of my quilt Jennie Cleland. The next photo is of the beginnings of my Going Green Gradually. Which I started in a Marg Sampson George workshop at Lizzie's.

And red is an absolute favourite with the sisters too. When my daughter decided she would paint one of the walls of her room red and chose a beautiful red carpet to go with it, I knew I needed to make a quilt to match. Of course it has taken way too long to finish the quilt, but better late then never I say!

Onsdag den 12. maj 2010. Så ligger der nogle blok fra Nearly Insane , jeg mangler kun 4 stk i midten , men så skal alle kanter syes også . Der går et stykke tid i nu ende jeg er færdig med dette tæppe . Er ved at strikke et babytæppe til min. Datter , hun ønskede et tyk og lækker. Og det passer jo fint da hun først skal.
