The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: August 2011
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Parents vs. Toddler (it's a tie). This evening Daisy had a MEGA fit. A tantrum to be reckoned with. And like always, it came out of nowhere. In the car on the way home from school:. DAISY: "What we doin' today mumma? ME: "We're going to go home, get changed, and go to Trader Joes.". DAISY: "Oh, I LOVE Trader Joes! ME: "Ok Daisy, let's get changed so we can go to Trader Joes.". Then follows abo...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: April 2011
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Thursday, April 21, 2011. An update on the school girl. Yeah, well, there's been a reason it's taken so long to get back on here. School is no longer our favorite word. Time was, before her birthday, that even the mere mention of her turning two would result in Daisy telling everyone proudly: "I'm going to school.". Don't WANT to go to schoooooooooooooooooooool.". Yeah, it's like that. And then the screaming begins.

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: February 2011
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Hence my nickname for her right now: "Doodle" ( You may remember, we have a fluid relationship with nicknames in this family. Doodle is currently into questions:. Was she doin', mum? To name but a few, of course. These are the most common. Of course, I'm waiting for "why". Which is right about when I finally succumb and rent a cargo van for a trip to Napa Valley. Gotta stock up. You don't jus...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: May 2011
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Monday, May 23, 2011. Time for a Daisy update. I'm long overdue for a Daisy update. The delay has been two-fold: first, we went to England for two weeks (for more on those exploits, head over to Ms.Ranty Pant. S) and second, life is crazy busy right now. There's barely enough time to take personal pics, let alone edit them and write a blog post around them. But I'm fitting in some time this evening. Lucky you! Especial...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: Slice of Life | A weekend with Daisy
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2012/06/slice-of-life-weekend-with-daisy.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Thursday, June 7, 2012. Slice of Life A weekend with Daisy. Don't faint. Yes, we made some progress on the hair front. I said some. This was pulled out promptly, you understand, after the camera went away.). Alright, well, time to own up: I haven't posted on here since March. Bad mummy. In that time, Daisy got herself 100% potty trained, turned three and went to Disneyland for the first time. The story so far. Twirls a...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: March 2012
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Saturday, March 17, 2012. On how 3 year olds are geniuses. As most any toddler-mom will know, potty training is divided into two parts: #1 and #2. Most kids get #1 down first and then take a little longer to get #2 in the potty. This is pretty understandable given that #2 is harder to "time" and takes a bit more - shall we say - patience. In this case, it is the "Big Girl Bed". Challenge #2: As of this evening, we have...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: March 2011
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Sunday, March 6, 2011. Daisy is now less than one month away from her second birthday. O-M-G - where did the last two years go? This time two years ago, THIS WAS MY REALITY. All things considered, I like where we're at right now much better. Right now, poor thing is sick. After recovering from a temperature of 102 yesterday, she paraded around the house today screaming "Uh oh, Mummy! The latter scares us * itless. ...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: Barking Daisy
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2011/10/barking-daisy.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Saturday, October 15, 2011. Sorry to have to post an update after so long with a report on a pretty rotten week over here for Ms. Daisy. A liquid steroid came to the rescue by Thursday night and, by Friday, she was 75% better. But it sure was hard to see her like this. Movies on her DVD player, pillows, and blankets. Doesn't like having her hair brushed/touched. Sits in a "w" position. Complains about tags in clothing.

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Thursday, June 30, 2011. She's taking swimming lessons in a pool without Mummy and Daddy. Her teacher's name is Ms. Ariel. How appropriate, huh? Plus side: neither Mumma nor Daddy have to endure wearing a bathing suit or getting wet! She's doing GREAT at school! We've moved on from screaming, crying, sulking, and bargaining. We now have. wait for it. friends! Her #1 love is still books. She hasn't blinked an eyelid abo...

The lazy, crazy world of Daisy: November 2010
http://travelvixenbaby.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
The lazy, crazy world of Daisy. Adventures of a willful child and her wine-lovin' mum. Monday, November 29, 2010. First, before sharing a funny story, I wanted to post this pic from our family dinner-date with friends last week. The lure of a California King bed was too great for two 19 month olds. Much fun was had jumping and climbing up and down on the master bed. (And thank God for the size since Missy fell head-first off my mother's queen bed last week.). Couldn't you just eat them up at this age?
