Monday, September 15, 2008. My oldest son, Brad, returned home after graduating from Army Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, in the wee hours of Saturday morning. I missed him so much! It has been such a busy few days that I haven't even had time to breathe, let alone post anything. I don't have any new stamping to share just yet (although I did have a class Friday night - I will post pics of projects tomorrow or Wednesday), but I. I am so proud of him! What an interesting day! Friday, August 15, 2008. Playing With More New Toys. S new 2008 Fall/Winter Idea Book and Catalog. The inks I used are Cameo Coral, Kiwi Kiss, and Whisper White craft. I used the craft ink for the medallion on the left side of the card. I stamped it and added Heat and Stick powder, melted it, and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the entire image (an image in glitter - what could be better than that? September 10, 2008 at 6:41 PM. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Busy, Busy, Busy. That's what this card is. busy. At least I had fun doing it! Again, I was trying to come up with another color combo using Kiwi Kiss that I didn't hate. I thought it would be fun to try a spinner card, so I created this one. The card base is Yoyo Yellow card stock, and I added strips of Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango and Riding Hood Red card stocks, all cut freehand using that neat little Cutter Kit from Stampin' Up! Boy, is that thing sharp! It seems like foreve...

Simply Stamping: July 2008
http://eileenstamps.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 20, 2008. I made this card the other day for my mom. I really miss her. My hubby is going down to her house on Friday for a few weeks to do some work there, so I'm sending this card with him. I got the idea for this card from a demonstrator technique challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. The technique used is "reverse spotlighting," and it's the first time I've ever done it. Beate Johns has a great tutorial. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. I'm Not Done Yet. Where Has the Time Gone? Visit My Stampin' Up!

Simply Stamping: June 2008
http://eileenstamps.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 27, 2008. Thursday, June 26, 2008. A Little Color Challenge. Oh my gosh, it seems like forever since I last posted. What a hectic couple of weeks it has been! Retired a few of their colors and replaced them with new ones (somewhere around four years ago), I ordered all new ink pads by color family - all four of 'em. Anyway, I have several that I've never used, and two of the colors in my daughter's outfit are two of them; in fact, the ink pads were still shrink-wrapped! Monday, June 16, 2008.
