This is my "Pelican on Pier" fiber art piece that I made for the Beyond the Edge. Boundless Exhibit. It is 18" wide by 36" high and mounted on a stretched canvas. I am a pictorial artist. I work in portraiture and landscape. My portrait work began in the 1990’s with seven years of intense study under two master artists who greatly influenced me, and through them I was introduced to current and historical masters, to their styles, and to their perspectives. I prefer to design my fiber art based upon my watercolor paintings and drawings.
