Coleman and Co.: October 2008

Tuesday, October 21, 2008. An interesting conversation I had. Or felt that you were prompted to tell somebody something because you needed to tell it to yourself as well? I often wonder how many conversations are crafted in such a way that we are inspired to think into deeper meanings and learn things about ourselves. . With that said, this is an im conversation that I had with a friend of mine. . The names have been changed to protect the innocent." ;). How are you doing? Good How about you? Wow So thin...

Coleman and Co.: April 2009
http://snowflakefury.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. Tagged. I'm it! For this tag (thanks Sarah) I get to post the 4th image in my 4th photo folder. Which happens to be this:. This was taken about a year ago, in my back yard. I had just purchased a macro lens set for my camera, and being the geek that I am, I was elated to have my first little photo shoot out in the rain! It made for some beautiful pictures, one of which I won an award for. I can't wait for my flowers to bloom again, so I can do it again. :). Dr Moulder and Family.

The Theler Five: Of bike rides, blood, and staples
http://thelerfive.blogspot.com/2008/10/of-bike-rides-blood-and-staples.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Of bike rides, blood, and staples. Status: Canning grape juice from the mounds of grapes someone gave us. Song: "Whispers in the Dark" by Skillet (because it's Ian's favorite at the moment). This blog post is rated PG (due to graphic content). If you are a child, please check with a parent before reading on.*. Warning: Crochety old lady sentiment coming up. But don't worry, I will repent and reform on the helmet issue. And here's the story. Sunday evening after dinner we decide...

The Theler Five: Boston Marathon Report
http://thelerfive.blogspot.com/2012/04/boston-marathon-report.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2012. So, a week ago I ran in this little race called the Boston Marathon. I promised details, so here you go. Awesome vacation with the family in NYC and then Boston, where we used almost every transportation method available (plane, taxi, foot, subway, bus, shuttle, train, amphibious vehicle). Check. Increasingly nervous checking of the Boston weather forecast as every day the predicted temperature got higher. Check. Third email from Boston Athletic Association telling us again (in...

Coleman and Co.: November 2008
http://snowflakefury.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. What am I thankful for? Today I have literally been in the kitchen for the past 6 hours doing nothing but cooking and doing dishes. Why? Or is this the Lord's way of telling me that I need to take a step back, and have some time for myself? I just don't know what to think right now. So I've been thinking of what I am thankful for, despite today's emotions. They may not seem like much, but to me they're all a huge blessing to me in their own ways. I am thankful for my 2 cats, ...

Coleman and Co.: February 2010
http://snowflakefury.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. Disclaimer* Very unsettled when this was written. I wrote this a few days ago, and have been debating whether or not to post it. Even though the anger-hurt-disappointment emotions have settled a bit (but the frightened emotions have definitely taken front seat), I am still hurt at the general situation and figured I'd just better let it out. So, even though I do mean what I wrote, I'm not too proud of how it was written at the time. That dark color shows that the disc is diseas...
