Deb's 52 walks in 2010. Monday, 26 April 2010. Week 17 walk - Oxford. St Johns college and the Eleanor Cross. The newly renovated Ashmolean Museum - we did not go in - it was too nice a day outside! The Observatory - the first time we had seen it up close - usually we glimpse it from the top of the bus! The Natural History building - one of my favourites. The very posh Trinity College - the students were playing croquet on the beautifully manicured lawns. The very nice Wadham College. The Bridge of Sighs.

Karens 365 Photos 2009 and beyond! Tuesday, 11 August 2015. Day 223 - August 11th. Today has been hot and sunny so we headed to the beach at Pembrey. In true family tradition, Lara decided to go into the sea fully clothed for a 'paddle' but instead got socked! Pembrey Beach stretches for 7 and a half miles so it is never crowded despite being a very popular beach. After getting wet in the sea we spent time playing with bats and a ball and relaxing. After our arrival in wonderful sunshine yesterday, today started out wet, but when the rain stopped we ventured out and drove along the cost to Burry Port. We visited the village last year in similar circumstances and retraced the steps we had taken previously. We walked around the harbour which is also a marina for small leisure boats. After pausing for an ice cream . There were a few rock pools which where we searched.

Karens 365 Photos 2009 and beyond! Monday, 10 August 2015. Day 222 - August 10th. After another wet start to the day, late this morning we visited Kidwelly Castle. Our days are starting to take a similar pattern to last year as last summer we visited Kidwelly Castle on a day that started with rain. This afternoon the sun came out and although breezy the afternoon was warm and bright. In the Physic Garden hidden among some herbs some strange 'Mandrakes' were hiding. And side stepped a huge Jellyfish.

My 3-Day Adventure - San Diego, CA - Nov. 19-21, 2010. Thursday morning was crazy busy! And he brought us to the front car which was filled with other 3-Day walkers and crew members. Guess we had that look about us (and we weren't even decked out in pink yet! We were going to be burning quite a few calories in the next few days!
