Messages from Log.wtf() sound pretty bad. Android - Tinting RippleDrawables. DrawableCompat offers a setTintList API to apply tint colors based on various states of the drawable resource. This is usually applicable for stateful drawables ( Drawable.isStateful. DrawableCompat.setTintList(Drawable drawable, ColorStateList tint). This( LayerState) null, null);. SetTintList on a LayerDrawable constructed via default constructor is basically a no-op as mLayerState.mNum is 0. Final int N = mLayerState.mNum;.

Messages from Log.wtf() sound pretty bad: Android - VolumeProvider and mute callback

http://debuggingisfun.blogspot.com/2015/08/android-volumeprovider-and-mute-callback.html

Messages from Log.wtf() sound pretty bad. Android - VolumeProvider and mute callback. Has callbacks for volume changes. onSetVolumeTo is invoked when volume is set to a particular value and onAdjustVolume is invoked when the volume is just increased or decreased. However, there isn't any callback whatsoever when the volume is muted. Why would this be ignored? Mute state is represented by the disabled cast icon. Turns out that, the mute support for remote stream is not supported on purpose as a TODO item.

Messages from Log.wtf() sound pretty bad: Android - Click Listener for Custom Views

http://debuggingisfun.blogspot.com/2015/08/android-click-listener-for-custom-views.html

Messages from Log.wtf() sound pretty bad. Android - Click Listener for Custom Views. Custom views in android come in all sizes, shapes and forms. Besides, complex views would like to notify of a click only when a part of the view is clicked. This could specially be a challenge for custom views based on View. This could be achieved via Android's Region. Final Region region = new Region( left, top, right, bottom );. Public boolean onTouchEvent(MotionEvent event) {. Float x = event.getX();.

Debugging life

Life is a really complex project. But, to date, there wasn't a solid and centralized bug reporting tool for it. Address this lack of a proper bug tracker for life, by building on open source. Anyone can signup for an account. Report a bug, which will be properly categorized and, if necessary, escalated to the proper person in charge (mayor, governor, president, UNO secretary).
